In a rare move TfW Class 197/1 No. 1971119 and TfW Class 197/0 No. 1970003 power through Winwick on 8th January 2025 while working a Manchester Piccadilly - Milford Haven service. This service had been diverted from its normal route to Crewe via Stockport due to problems with No. 197003 leading to its inability to be the leading trainset.
