Class 507 Nos. 507001 and 507023 Operations Inspector Stuart Mason made a Farewell tour of Merseyrails Northern Lines on 3rd November 2024 to mark the end of Class 507 operations with Merseyrail. The train returned to Southport for an extended break in the afternoon, when the chance was taken to photograph the commemorative display acknowledging the years of service to Merseyrail on No. 507001.
