After a month of exclusive use of Class 66s on the Settle and Carlisle and surrounding routes RHTT working a Class 68 was introduced on 27th October 2024. In fading light DRS Class 68 No. 68006 Pride of the North heads away from Skipton for Hellifield and then Blackburn with the 11.34 RHTT from Carlisle Kingmoor which has just reversed at Skipton. DRS Class 66/4 No. 66424 Driver Paul Scrivens is on the rear.
