Making an extremely rare appearance on the Settle and Carlisle route, Transpennine Class 185 No. 185126 and 185107 pass Long Preston on 18th October 2024 with the 09.44 Carlisle - Ardwick TMD empty stock working. Operated by Rail Operations Group the pair had worked to Carlisle the previous day via the WCML and it is understood had been involved in overnight testing in Carlisle.
