Attracting the attention of enthusiasts Class 46 No. 46047 stands at Bristol Temple Meads on 13th August 1984 with the 09.22 Newcastle - Penzance service. This was one of only a handful of surviving Class 46s at this date and this locomotive was withdrawn just one month later.
