On a cold evening on 28th June 2024, LSL Class 57/3 No. 57311, in a recently applied retro LNWR black livery, passes Workington hauling The Three Peaks Challenge: Day 2, second stage; the 19.35 charter from Ravenglass to Fort William. Class 57/3 No. 57311 is a former Virgin Thunderbird locomotive, previously named 'Parker'. LSL Class 47 No. 47593 'Galloway Princess' is at the rear of this train.
