An immaculate West Coast Railways Class 86/2 No. 86259 'Les Ross / Peter Pan', approaches Stony Lane Bridge at Forton, working the Railway Touring Company's 06:35 London Euston to Carlisle Railtour Charter on 1st June 2024. 86259 would be replaced by Steam at Carnforth to undertake the rest of the outward journey to Carlisle over Shap and then the return trip from Carlisle to Carnforth over the Settle and Carlisle Scenic Railway.
