The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway celebrated the operation of tender locomotives in March 2024 when a pair of Beet family-owned locomotives were in operation. on 24th March 2024 Ivatt Class 2MT Mogul 46441 called at Newby Bridge while powering a Haverthwaite - Lakeside service.
