Almost all RHTT operations had ceased by the end of the forst week in December but the York based diagram around East Yorkshire continued until 15th December. on 14th December 2023 its penultimate day of operation DRS Class 37 No. 37407 Blackpool Tower heads for the turn back siding at Selby with the 09.50 RHTT working from York Thrall Europa which operates via Scarborough, Bridlington and Hull and return. Classmate No. 37422 Victorious was on the rear. These locomotives are not expected to feature on these workings beyond this year.
