Northern Class 333 No. 331001 is seen at Skipton on 27th November 2023 having just arrived from Allerton Depot hauled by ROG Class 37 No. 37611 Denise visible at the rear. The Class 37 is about to propel the Class 333 into Broughton Road sidings. Northern have begun a process of swapping three carriage Class 331/0 in use in the North West for four carriage Class 331/1 in use in Yorkshire with the intention of using Class 331/0 in pairs to increase capacity on the Airedale and Wharfedale lines.
