On 26th-28th August 2022, Barrow Hill Roundhouse celebrated theh birthday of this iconic Midland Railway Roundhouse with an event entitled '150 and 2 Celebration Gala', which had been replaced two years due to the COVID Pandemic.
Here, Class 02 No. D2868 return to the Roundhouse, working Break-Van rides up and down the Springwell branch, together with Class 07 No. D2996.'.
