On the 11th September 2023, DB Cargo Class 66/0, No. 66129, which is still in original EWS livery, passes Penrith North Lakes station working the 16.02 DB Cargo 'light engine' movement from Carlisle New Yard to Hardendale Quarry. By not having to wait in Plumpton UGL, 66129 passed through Penrith 20 minutes early today.
