On a grey and misty 29th November 2022, Great Western Castle Class No. 7029 ‘Clun Castle' heads north through Wingfield, Derbyshire with the Vintage Trains Christmas White Rose from Tyseley to York. Class 20 No. 20189 was providing assistance at the rear of the train. In the background, external repairs to Wingfield station by the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust are now complete. Work will start soon on the restoration of the interior.
