Trenitalia class D.145 centre cab heavy shunter No. 145.2033 is seen leading the two portions of the 07.26 service from Roma Termini off the train ferry at Messina and into Messina Centrale station on 8th August 2022. After further shunting to split the two trains they will proceed at 16.05 to Siracusa and 16.15 to Palermo.
