On the 11th May 2022, Royal Scot Class No. 46100 'Royal Scot' leaves York running about an hour late at the haed of the 'Yorkshire Coast Express', which was diesel hauled from Crewe to Liverpool Lime Street and then steam hauled from Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough, via Edale, promoted by Saphos Trains. Class 47 No. 47501 / D1944 'Craftsman', is at the rear of this train.
