Northern Class 158 No. 158907 stands at Heysham Port station on 30th January 2022, having arrived with the 11.10 service from Skipton and about to return to Skipton with the 13.04 departure. The four mile Morecambe - Heysham Port branch has just one return passenger service per day, timed to connect with the ferry service to the Isle of Man operated by the isle of Man Steam Packet Company. The top of the MV Ben-my-Chree can be glimpsed in the background. To gain access to the branch from Morecambe the driver is required to disembark and set the points for the branch, doing the reverse on arrival back from Heysham.
