On the 11th January 2022, a DB Cargo Class 66/0 No. 66085, passes Teesside Airport near Darlington hauling the 08.24 intermodal service from Mossend Euroterminal to Tees Dock. This locomotive carries the branding 'Powered by HVO, Reducing Our Carbon Footprint', indicating that it is powered by 100% renewable, Hydro-treated Vegetable Oil (HVO), instead of the ordinary red diesel.
