This weekend once again saw ECML diversions along the WCML and the Tyne Valley. In this view, an LNER "Azuma" Class 800, no. 800106 comes down the bank from Carlisle Citadel Station to head east to Newcastle with 1E17: the 07.55, LNER "Azuma" service from Inverness to London Kings Cross.
