GB Railfreight Class 60 No. 60002 'GRAHAM FARISH 50TH ANNIVERASRY 1970-2020' is in unfamiliar territory as it works a ballast train at Dinting station on 15th August 2021. Track renewal work had taken place throughout the day, relaying the curve through the Glossop branch platform, and as dusk fell the loco and its train of ten Autoballasters worked into the site. As far as I know, this is only the second ever appearance of a Class 60 along this stretch of the former Manchester to Sheffield route via Woodhead, the previous visit being 60045 on a railtour in 1994.
