To signify their final day in traffic prior to being withdrawn for overhaul, the title of the KWVR's timetable on 20th January 2013 was "Farewell to 2 Locos" - L&Y Class 0-6-0 No. 957 and Ivatt Class 2 2-6-2T No. 41241. As a result of a decision by the Police to close the line while they carried out a murder investigation No. 41241 could not proceed further than Ingrow West station until the line was re-opened. Here, it powers along the snow-covered Great Northern Straight on its first run of the day.
