On the 6th August 2021, WCRC Class 47 No. 47854 "Diamond Jubilee", powers away from Darlington working "The Northern Belle: York at leisure" rail charter from Glasgow Central to York, via the ECML.
WCRC Class 57/6 No. 57601 "Windsor Castle" was at the rear of this train.
