WCRC Class 57 No. 57601 Windsor Castle waits in the loop at Hellifield station on 30 July 2021 having run light engine from Carnforth as the 13.37 Carnforth Steamtown - Hellifield. The locomotive was waiting to replace Peppercorn-designed class A1 No 60163 Tornado on a Carlisle - Coventry railtour which ran via Blackburn. Tornado is banned from the Hellifield - Blackburn line due to a gauging issue at Daisyfield Junction.
