As a result of engineering work between Leeds & Wakefield Westgate on 6th June 2021, LNER services operated over unusual diversionary routes and also terminated at Grantham (as all lines were closed between both Peterborough and Grantham, as well as to and from London King's Cross. Here Class 800/2 bi-mode No. 800207 & Class 801/1 No. 801112 pass through Micklefield, forming the diverted 14:30 Grantham to Leeds service.
