On the 27th January 2021 a Firsta Trans Pennine Express "Nova 1" Class 802 No. 802213, heads south from Darlington working the 11:42 First Trans Pennine Express service from Newcastle Central to Liverpool Lime Street.
To the left is an LNER Class 800 "Azuma" No. 800110, working the 10:00 LNER service from London King's Cross to Edinburgh Waverley, which is held at the signal waiting to enter Darlington Bank Top station.
