Knaresborough station on the Harrogate - York line retains all the character of a rural branch line from a century ago. On 28th June 2020, DB Class 66/0 No. 66050 EWS Energy heads past the distinctive signal box and into the station with the 12.00 Harrogate - Doncaster Decoy Yard engineers working conveying spent ballast from a worksite near Horsforth.
