On the 22nd January 2020, a pair of 11-car Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino's Nos. 390138 "City of London" (left) and 390114 "City of Manchester" (right), prepare to depart from Carlisle Citadel station in opposite directions. No. 390138 is working the 15.40 Glasgow Central to London Euston service, while No. 390114 is working the 13.30 service from London Euston to Glasgow Central.
