On the 20th December 2019, LNER Class 43 No. 43206, in special Inter City 125 replica livery and displaying the original number 253 003, is seen heading south from Darlington, in damp, misty conditions, on Day 3 of the LNER HST Farewell Tour, while working from Edinburgh to Leeds.
Classmate No. 43312, which is also in a special Inter City 125 replica livery and displaying the original number 254 029, passes the rear of this train.
