In their first week of operation, LNER 'Azuma' Class 801/1 Hitachi 'Inter-City Express' Nos. 801110 and 801112 pass under the A14 Road Bridge on their approach to Huntingdon Station, working the 08:25 Newcastle to London King's Cross service on 28th September 2019. It is planned that the A14 Road Bridge will be demolished by the end of 2020, as a major new bypass to the South of Huntingdon is under construction.
