On 6th August 2019 East Midlands Trains Class 158 No. 158852 passes Codnor Park on the Erewash Valley line. Normally this would be a Liverpool to Norwich service but due to the closure of the route through Whaley Bridge due to issues with the Toddbrook Reservoir the service started at Hope in Derbyshire to run via Sheffield to Norwich. Services in the reverse direction are similarly restricted.
