In the twilight of Class 91 service on the ECML but in bright sunshine on the morning of the 10th June 2019, an LNER Class 91 No. 91114 "Durham Cathedral", is seen leaving platform 2 at Newcastle Central Station at the head of: the 09.00 LNER service from London King's Cross to Edinburgh Waverley, while to the left is classmate No. 91102 "City of York", which had terminated at platform 3, having arrived earlier on; the 0830 service from London King's Cross to Newcastle.
