In the evening of the 25th August 2018, a Class 55 Deltic No. 55009 "Alycidon" recreates a familiar scene from the past as it enters Newcastle Central Station, while working; the returning Deltic Retro Scot III rail tour from Edinburgh to York, where the Deltic will be detached and finally Preston.
