SR U Class Mogul No. 31806 pulls into Maiden Newton on 26th April 2018 with the Yeovil Jcn. to Swanage via Weymouth leg of the 'Great Britain XI' tour. Out of shot on the rear of the train is Class 5MT No. 45212 which will haul the Weymouth-Wareham leg of the tour following a reversal at Weymouth. It seems a lot of the population of Maiden Newton has turned out to withness the event of a steam loco passing through their station.
