Preserved Class 86 No. 86259, 'Les Ross / Peter Pan' passes Lancaster on the Down Fast Line, working a charter from London Euston to Carlisle on 13th May 2017. No. E3137 worked the service as far as Carnforth, where LMS 'Royal Scot' Class 4-6-0 No. 46115 'Scots Guardsman' took over and worked the Carnforth to Carlisle leg and the return trip as far as Preston, when No. E3137 regained the helm back to to London Euston.
