On the 27th May 2017, LMS Coronation Class Pacific No. 46233 "Duchess of Sutherland", is seen near Armathwaite, with the returning 'Hadrian' charter from Carlisle to Norwich, promoted by the Railway Touring Company. WCRC Class 47 No. 47760, was at the rear of this train.
