DRS Class 88 Electro-diesel No. 88002 'Prometheus' and Class 68 Diesel-Electric No. 68025 'Superb' reverse the 'Settle & Carlisle Pioneer' into the siding at Appleby while being passed by the Northern Belle from King's Cross to Carlisle with DRS Class 68 No. 68017 'Hornet' on the rear of the train on 20th May 2017. DRS Class 68 No. 68002 'Intrepid' was at the front of the train.
