Due to increased fire risk a pair of LSL Class 20s Nos. D8107 and D8096 in BR Green took charge of the 'Fellsman' for the first time from Crewe to Carlisle on 20th July 2022. They are pictured taking the down slow line in order to pick up passengers from the station. Class 47 No. 47828 was attached to the rear of the train.
