On the 19th October 2016, an ex SAR Class 1 No. 1276, a 4-8-0 locomotive, built by the North British Locomotive Co. Ltd. in Glasgow in 1905, originally for the Natal Government Railway, is seen at the Natal Railway Museum, Hilton, near Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu-Natal.
