On the 19th December 2016 a Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66553 powers through Penrith North Lakes station with a Daventry to Coatbridge FLT, intermodal. This train left Daventry 76 minutes but by Penrith it was on time at 10.16; a creditable effort in the circumstances.
