Due to a shortage of Class 66s, Freightliner Heavy Haul used Class 70 No. 70006 from its Intermodal division on 5th October 2016, to move a rake of coal hoppers from Barnetby Sidings to Crewe Basford Hall. Here, the Class 70 powers through Althorpe, between Scunthorpe and Doncaster.
