LMS Black 5 4-6-0 No. 45212 pilots visiting SR Battle of Britain Class Pacific No. 34053 'Sir Keith Park' along the 1 in 114 gradient of the Great Northern Straight, with the 09:50 Keighley to Oxenhope service on 8th October 2016, the second day of the KWVR Autumn Steam Spectacular.
On its first-ever climb up Keighley Bank the previous day, 34053 struggled so much that it stopped twice and took over an hour to complete its scheduled 32 minute trip to Oxenhope, necessitating it being piloted throughout the remainder of the Gala."
