The nameplate of visiting Class 26 No. 26038 'Tom Clift 1954 - 2012', which spent over 26 years as an Inverness-based loco, pictured while stabled on Grosmont MPD on 1st October 2016. The locomotive was withdrawn in October 1992, following a traction motor defect, but was bought by career railwayman Tom Clift and was named on 27th April 2013 at the KWVR's Diesel Gala.
