The Branch Line Societyâ??s â??A Tale of Two Portsâ?? railtour on August 29th 2016 visited the Ports of Sunderland and Tyne with GBRf providing the motive power in top 'n tail mode. It is seen here passing Seaburn Metro Station with Class 66/7, 66735 leading, en-route between Sunderland and the Tyne with classmate 66755 bringing up the rear. It is only last year that the Port of Sunderland was reconnected to the national rail network.
