Northern Trains Class 142 No. 142032 waits at Helsby to form the 1517 (parliamentary) service to Ellesmere Port, on the afternoon of 23rd July 2016. This service arrived from Liverpool Lime Street an hour beforehand, before it makes two runs to Ellesmere Port before heading to Warrington Bank Quay to arrive about 1630. This service is absolutely no. use to anyone, but has to run twice a day except as part of the Northern Franchise. However, there is still time to use this service as it is obliged to run until December 2017.
