On a dull afternoon of 14th October 2014, LNER Class A4 Pacific Pacific No. 60009 'Union of South Africa', hauling 8 freight wagons to portray a Parcels train (believed to be the first time an A4 has hauled a Parcels train since No. 4498 (60007) Sir Nigel Gresley in March 1967), stands proud and majestic at Little Burrs on the East Lancashire Railway, having let the photographers alight to prepare for its planned run pasts at this location, during the photographic charter organised by the Parcels Group.
