Closed on 21st September 1953, Yarmouth station on the former Freshwater, Yarmouth and Newport Railway has been restored to a high standard as seen in this view on 17th March 2016. Once used as a youth club, it is now home to a cafe/restaurant. The original station buildings have been extended and a replica signal box added.
