LSL Class 47 No. 47810 (D1924) 'Crewe Diesel Depot' heads the 'English Riviera Express' from Poole to Kingswear across Christchurch Bank in the early morning sunshine on 17th August 2024. Class 57 No. 57311 is at the rear of the train which will be diesel hauled as far as Taunton, where steam traction takes over.
