DBS Class 67 No. 67012 is seen approaching East Boldon Metro Station on 2nd October 2015, with VTEC driver route learning movement from Newcastle to Northallerton and return via the Durham Coast Line. The line is used as a diversionary route if the ECML is blocked in the Durham area.
