To mark the completion of the Barrington Quarry Rail Restoration Project Class 66/0 No. 66058 stands on static display at Barrington Quarry. Open days were held by Cemex on 25th and 26th September and the public could view the site and ride on a steam shuttle on the restored line which links the Cambridge - King's Cross line near Foxton to the now closed quarry. The line will be used to bring in inert material from major construction projects into the quarry which will then become the site of new housing development. The rail project has cost in the region of £3m.
