On 18th November 2024 GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66779 Evening Star draws through Shepreth Branch Junction with a Barrington to Willesden Euroterminal service consisting of empty box wagons returning to collect more spoil from the HS2 project. The spoil is being used to infill the disused cement quarry at Barrington.
