Trenitalia class E656 No. 656294 stands at Messina Centrale with a Syracuse - Rome service on 9th July 2015. The loco is about to be detached and in the background a shunting locomotive is about to be attached to push the train and passengers onto the train ferry which will take the train across the Messina strait to the Italian mainland.
